Complete Framing Packages
We only have one floor plan and that is your floor plan! We take pride in the fact that we try not to build the same building twice. Bring us any set of plans and we design/engineer a structural plan set with shop drawings to suit your design criteria.
A complete Light Gauge framing package will give you a 100% steel frame. It will come with shop fabricated wall panels, floor trusses, and roof trusses. These framing packages will come complete with permanent bracing, strapping, sub-fascia, and soffit material.
Roof Trusses
Light Gauge Steel Roof Trusses are the clear choice for your Residential/Commercial roof truss needs. Steel trusses have the ability to span longer distances and the strength of steel offers greater protection during natural disasters. Our roof trusses will meet/exceed your local building code and will be designed to meet your load requirements. We design our trusses with ceiling applications and truncate trusses to eliminate over-framing as much as possible. By incorporating these items into our trusses, it reduces the erection time which means saving you money.
All roof truss packages will come complete with a designed/engineered set of structural prints and shop drawings. Roof trusses will be built in our factory and labeled to match prints. All packages come complete with all permanent bracing. This includes metal for rat runs, hat channel, hip and valley metal, sub fascia, and soffit metal. (Items provided if necessary)
Floor Trusses
Light Gauge Steel for trusses is one of the best choices for your floor supporting systems. Steel floor trusses are light and easy to handle while at the same time being extremely strong. The open webbing makes them trade friendly allowing AC ducts, plumbing, and electrical to pass through the trusses without cutting or drilling which saves time and money.
Our open web floor trusses are designed and engineered to fit your load and architectural needs. Using light gauge floor trusses allows you to span greater distances with less material and weight. Our open web floor trusses can accept a number of floor substuits ranging from plywood to concrete but not limited to those materials. They come designed with complete sets of construction and shop prints. All floor truss packages come complete with labeled trusses and permanent bracing.
Wall Systems
Our light gauge steel wall systems are designed and engineered to fit your building criteria. They typically come in 3 1/2" and 5 1/2" wall thicknesses to directly replace wood two by sizes. Walls generally are 16 - 22 gauge and are spaced 12" - 24" spacing depending on your job needs. Most walls come prebuilt with all door and window openings built into them. All wall packages come complete with construction and shop drawings.
Wall stud sizes and gauges are not limited to typical sizes but are sized to fit your need and load requirments.
Steel Frame Components
Here at Superior Metal Framing Systems we make an assortment of material at our factory in stock lengths or made to order.
We manufacture structural studs (CSJ) and tracks (TSB), used for both load bearing and non-load bearing walls and ceilings. Studs and tracks come pre-punched to make plumbing and electrical contractor's jobs easier. Studs and track can be custom ordered to the length of your choice to alleviate the need for cutting on the jobsite.
